Vacation Homework

You will practice for our exam over the vacation.

1. Create a list that CONTRASTS Rome's government with our own.
2. Write one paragraph about the differences between the two governments (contrasts).

II. Now find your own source on the internet that helps you COMPARE the two governments.
1. Create a list that conpares the two governments
2. Write one paragraph that shows how they are similar (COOMPARES).


III. Go to http://regentprep.org and practice for next week's exam using the practice multiple choice questions.

Bring in your paragraphs and your two lists on January 3 when we come back.

Tonight's homework is the 'creation myth' of Rome: The story of Romulus and Remus.

Watch this video from youtube....


Then answer these questions:
1. Why were Romulus and Remus both raised away from their uncle?
2. How did they both come to be rulers of their land?
